Thing #35: Mini or micro blogging

Just been exploring Twitter I set up an account, and sent a few messages. It's very much like MSN that I have used in the past. And also like texting from your mobile This seems to be the replacement for emailing, especially for the next generation. Its great for organising social activities with friends

Thing #32: Online file storage

Just been exploring Box.net I opened an account. Created a folder and uploaded a file from my H drive. Then, using Zoho Writer it was quite easy to edit the file. I don't have an image to edit as I am doing this excersise on my ATO Net machine. As soon as my home PC is up and running again, I will try editing some photos, using Picnik Over all I can see this as being a pretty useful tool.

Thing 31: Get Organized with Plaxo

.
Hi again. Just been exploring Plaxo I set up an account, quite easily. Also added some of my favourite sites such as Flickr, Youtube. I even added some "events" in my calendar. It seems like a very useful tool for organising your work and personal activities etc, and easy to use. Not sure about all this information being "out there". A good idea to make it viewable for only select family and friends.

Thing 29: Scrapblog

Well I've just been having lots of fun creating my very first scrapblog. (see previous post). I found it a bit restrictive trying to do it on my ATO Net machine, so ended up on the standalone. I found it quite easy to upload photos from my photobucket account to create my scrapblog. "The Devil wears Prada' is one of my favourite recently read books. I also loved the movie

Thing 27: Photobucket

Photobucket Album
Photobucket

I found Photobucket lots of fun and could easily get carried away with all the great photos, videos and animation! And it was very easy to use and create albums and slideshows etc. I also found with Photobucket that I couldn't get far using it on ATO Net machines, as with LetterPop.
